Good Morning Sweet Sister - Rise and SHINE!

Today, I’m sharing a post that will give you some tools on how to stop the mind from thinking and dwelling on negative thoughts. Click on the image below and make it a blessed day!
I would encourage each of you to begin using my gratitude journal. Write down as many things as you can think of each day that you are grateful for. Trust me if you live anywhere in America, you have a gazillion things no matter how dark and deep your valley is that you are walking through. Just the fact that you have a device to read this blog post on is something to be grateful for. You can also collect them in a jar on small pieces of paper to read at the end of each year to be reminded of all the blessings in your life.
A great thing to do with your children is to teach them to be grateful and to never forget how blessed we all are each day! In 2013, I started this very tradition and will again create a new jar for this new season I am walking through with each of you. If you work in a stressful environment or want to bring joy to those you work with, then I encourage you to place a jar where everyone can see it and label it boldly and brightly, "Write one thing you are thankful for today!", be sure you have the scraps of paper and a jar of pens for them to do it easily. At the end of the year gather to read what everyone wrote, and they can all be anonymous (that choice is up to each person placing their gratitude paper in the jar). Trust me it will bring everyone great comfort to see all the ways God showed up for them and how blessed they really are.
Remember, be kind to yourself – you are worthy, you are enough, you are important, and you are loved. Repeat this to yourself and others each day! I wrote a post with these exact words on my old blog in 2014 (11 years ago) today. And if you have been following me on social media at all, then you know I teach you to speak these very words over yourself every single day at least 3 times!
Here are some more truths that will help you along your inner healing journey:
Take a deep breath in between each one and be present in the moment as you say each one.
I AM WORTHY
I AM ENOUGH
I AM IMPORTANT
I AM LOVEABLE
I AM LOVED
I AM BEAUTIFUL JUST AS I AM
I AM KIND
I AM CALM
I AM PEACEFUL
I AM FORGIVEN
I AM NOT FORESAKEN
I HAVE ALL I NEED (Read Psalm 23 at least once a week over yourself)
Change your thoughts you will change the world around you and within you!

In order to see a change around you, the change must begin within in you…fill your own cup first.
Thank you for visiting and welcome to one of the greatest 30-day challenges you could ever begin! If you missed day one, then click on the tag positive thoughts.
