Today, as I sit with a warm drink in my hands and think back over this year, one word keeps rising to the surface:
Thankful.

Not in the shallow “everything is perfect” way. But in the quiet, holy way that comes after walking through hard things…after facing your own story…after choosing healing when it would’ve been easier to stay numb.
I’m thankful for you.
Thank You for Being Here
Whether today is your first time reading one of my posts or you’ve been walking this inner healing journey with me for months or years, I want you to hear this clearly:
Your presence here matters. Your story matters. You matter.
Thank you for:
Reading the blog posts and sharing them with friends who are hurting
Leaving comments, sending messages, and letting me know how a sentence or a truth landed in your heart
Joining my private group and bravely sharing your story
Investing in your healing through my coaching, eBooks, and courses
Trusting me to walk with you into some of the most tender places of your life
You are the reason I show up. You are the reason I keep writing, teaching, and creating resources. You are the reason “Inner Healing Coaching” is more than a business – it’s a calling.
Thank You for Choosing to Heal
This year, many of you have:
Purchased eBooks and actually did the work – the journaling, reflecting, and praying
Joined courses like The Inner Healing Journey Method™ and Redeeming Your Love and said, “I’m ready to do this differently now”
Booked coaching sessions even when you were scared, ashamed, or unsure you were “worth the investment” (you are)
You didn’t just support my work.
You partnered with God in the work He’s doing in you.
That is incredibly courageous.
Healing isn’t glamorous. It’s not linear. It’s not easy.
But you keep choosing it – one prayer, one boundary, one honest journal entry, one brave conversation at a time.
And I see you. Most importantly, God sees you.
For Those Who Are Struggling Today
I also know that Thanksgiving is not easy for everyone.
Maybe you’re:
Navigating estranged relationships
Grieving a family that never felt safe
Sitting in a house that feels too quiet
Surrounded by people, yet feeling painfully alone
Carrying mother-wounds, father-wounds, or the ache of not being understood
If that’s you, I want you to know:
You are not “too much."
You are not “behind."
You are not failing at healing.
Sometimes the holiest thing you can do on a holiday is breathe, let a few tears fall, and let God meet you exactly where you are.
Today, my prayer for you is simple:
That the God of all comfort will wrap you in His peace, remind you of your worth, and whisper, “I am still writing your story.”

A Special Announcement: Estranged Motherhood Global – 9-Part Series (Beginning December 1st)
Out of the countless stories I hear and the messages you send, one theme has been especially heavy and holy this year:
Estranged motherhood.
Moms who are estranged from their children. Women walking through silent holidays, unanswered messages, blocked numbers, or years of distance that feel like a thousand tiny deaths.
This is a pain most people do not understand. It’s complex. It’s layered. It’s full of grief, shame, confusion, and often… silence.
So, beginning December 1st, I’m launching a very tender, very intentional new series:
Estranged Motherhood Global: A 9-Part Series of Truth, Healing, and Hope
Over nine parts, we’ll gently explore:
The unique grief of estranged motherhood
How trauma, generational patterns, and unhealed wounds often shape these stories
The difference between guilt and shame – and why you don’t have to live under either
Boundaries, reconciliation, and what it looks like to seek peace even when restoration isn’t possible (or isn’t safe)
How to hold both accountability and compassion – for yourself and others
Faith, prayer, and how to keep walking with God when your heart is shattered over your children
Tools for regulating your nervous system during the holidays and triggering seasons
Ways to reclaim identity, purpose, and joy… even in the middle of unanswered questions
This series is for:
Mothers who are estranged from their adult children
Daughters carrying the pain of being estranged from their own mothers
Anyone walking alongside women in this kind of heartbreak
It will be global – meaning the truths, tools, and hope we walk through will be for women around the world, in all cultures, who share this often-hidden pain.
This is my love letter and healing offering to every woman who feels like no one understands this part of her story.
How to Join the Estranged Motherhood Series
To walk through the Estranged Motherhood Global 9-part series with me:
Make sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter, so you don’t miss a single part
Keep an eye on the blog starting December 1st
Share the series with a friend, sister, or mother who needs this kind of support
If you’re already part of this community – reading, sharing, or enrolled in one of my courses – you’ll be seeing updates and reminders from me as we begin.
You don’t have to navigate estranged motherhood alone in the dark. We’re going to bring it into the light – with wisdom, compassion, and faith.
From My Heart to Yours
As we close out this Thanksgiving message, I want to say this one more time:
Thank you.
Thank you for:
Letting me speak into your healing
Trusting me with your story
Supporting my coaching, eBooks, courses, and resources
And most of all, for saying yes to the inner healing journey God is inviting you into
I’m honored to walk beside you.
With so much love and gratitude,
Jill Your Inner Healing Coach
Helping you heal your mind, body, and soul – one brave step at a time.
