A Year of ‘But God’: My 2025 Testimony of Healing, Purpose, and Obedience

When I look back at 2025, there is only one honest way to describe it:

A year only God could have written.

My two favorite words: But God.

This wasn’t the year I expected.

It wasn’t the year I planned.

It wasn’t the year I felt prepared for.

It was the year God took my broken pieces and made them into a ministry.

It was the year He took what was meant to destroy me and turned it into healing for His daughters.

It was the year He took every closed door and opened a path I never could have created on my own.

This year wasn’t about my strength —

it was about His.

What God Did in Me This Year

When I had no blueprint, He gave direction.

When I had no confidence, He gave courage.

When I had no help, He became my Helper.

When I had no idea how to do any of this, He taught my hands what to build.

Everything I produced in 2025 came from a place of healing, obedience, and Holy Spirit partnership.

This Year Wasn’t Easy

• This year stretched me.

• It exposed me.

• It humbled me.

• It purified me.

• It required faith I didn’t know I still had.

• It required God to meet me in the broken parts of my motherhood.

• It required surrender.

• It required growth.

• It required trust in the middle of uncertainty.

Yet through every tear, every trigger, every moment I felt alone, God whispered: Daughter, I am with you. Keep going.

And I did.

This Year Is a Testimony

Not of perfection.

Not of skill.

Not of strategy.

But of God’s faithfulness.

Only God could take a woman rebuilding her life and turn her pain into a path for millions of women to heal.

Only God could take my trauma and give me language to set others free.

Only God could take the ache of estrangement and turn it into empathy, clarity, and ministry.

Only God could take a year of personal heartbreak and make it the most purposeful year of my life.

If God could take my trauma and turn it into purpose, He will do the same for you. He is no respecter of persons-what He restored in me, He longs to restore in you. All you have to do is reach for His hand and begin walking with the tools He has placed in front of you, tools He created through my pain and turned into purpose.

What Comes Next

Healing doesn’t happen through inspiration alone. It happens when truth is paired with structure, wisdom, and action.
