When the Unthinkable Happens: Shared Grief, Trauma, and the Long Road to Healing
As a trauma coach, I’ve seen the ripple effect of pain after tragedy. When our world faces loss and senseless killings, the grief doesn’t stop with one family—it touches us all. Indirect trauma is still trauma, and we must face it with compassion and courage. Healing requires forgiveness, but it also demands change. The pain is shared. So must our healing be—through deeper connection, truthful conversations, and faith that refuses to turn away.
